Congratulations Santa Runners!
Our chairman and daughter ran the santa run today (Sunday the 18th of December 2017) raising just over £150 for our charity. Massive thanks from all of us who volunteer for WIN. It is these amazing things that keep this charity going and able to help as many people in need after the loss of a significant other.

WIN Official Launch Day Success
A brilliant day raising awareness and funds at our Charity Launch Event today.
Thank you to our amaing trustees and supporters who organised everything and to all the brilliant volunteers who helped today.
Was also great to meet their charities working to support the bereaved.
We raised over £465 which with the other events locally puts us at raising over £1100 this last month!
Artist Renderbrant Creates A Beautiful, Thought Provoking Art Piece For WIN

WIN Unvail the art piece designed by artist Renderbrant at the Launch of the charity.
This beautiful work of art depicting the passing of time and those we have lost, symbolic through the drifting seeds of a dandilion, was presented at the entrance to the WIN launch on the 3rd of June. The idea was thought through by two widows who then talked to Rendrbrant of their vision.He perfectly depicted the message wanting to be said. Time passes and memories drift. our loved ones drift off as time moves on. But we never forget

WIN LAUNCH DATE SET
June 3rd 2017 1pm-4pm William Far School, Welton, LN2 3JB
Mark it in your diaries. Tell your friends and family. WIN plans a fun launch day for everyone. Any proceeds made will go into WIN as we raise the funding needed to help those people left behind after the loss of a partner and who find themselves in financial distress. At the event will be fun activities such as crafts, bouncy castle, games, an inflatable slide, food and refreshments that will keep the family entertained. Even a butterfly release at 2:30pm. There will also be talks and inforamtion on
bereavment support and the many charities out there that maybe useful to you or a friend or family member. Anyone of us could find ourselves in this situation. WIN wants to ensure the right information is out there and easily accessable. So make space in your diary for the 3rd of June. Come and meet WIN and have some fun whilst helping the widowed comunity have a voice.
Bagging A Sale For WIN
one WIN member raises £60 selling some unwanted items on a local website. Every bit helps towards raising money to help those in financial crisis when facing so much loss already.
You can sell unwanted items easy using local free selling sites and even Facebook.
A Call To Businesses March 2017
Piles of letters being sent out to businesses asking for support for the charity launch. Do you know a business that would like to support us, perhaps with a raffle prize or donation?

WAY (Widowed And Young) is the only national charity in the UK for men and women aged 50 or under when their partner died. It's a peer to peer support group run by a network of volunteers who have been bereaved at a young age themselves.
Aiming to reduce discrimination against unmarried couples by allowing them to recieve Widowed Parent's Allowance, a current campaign released this video.
